Sexual Violence Centre Calling On Garda Commissioner To Provide More Funding

The Sexual Violence Centre is calling on the Garda Commissioner to provide more funding for the Protective Services Unit in Cork.
The head of the organisation Mary Crilly says they saw an extra 100 clients last year and have seen a large increase in the number of people under the age of 18 seeking help at the centre.
The Garda protective Services deals with sexual crimes such as organised prostitution, child exploitation as well as domestic abuse.
Speaking to RedFM News, Mary Crilly from the Sexual Violence Centre Cork says the promise of resources is not enough
