Significant progress made on €90m Navigation Square development

Significant progress was made over the weekend on the largest office complex to be developed in Cork City centre, Navigation Square.
Over 3,000 tonnes of concrete was placed in one single pour to form part of the basement floor for the first building in the O'Callaghan Properties project.
It's expected up to 250 people will be working on this first building next year at the peak of the building process.
The €90 million development involves four buildings with a total floor area of 350,000 square feet of modern large foot plate office floors.
The first building is due for occupation for tenants' fit out works in November 2018. It is expected that up to 1500 people will be working in the building once completed. The project as a whole will be capable of hosting some 3,000 employees when fully occupied.
