Simon Harris To Launch Organ Donor Awareness Week Today
Health Minister Simon Harris is today launching Organ Donor Awareness Week, which this year runs from March 30th until April 6th.
The campaign is organised by the Irish Kidney Association, to promote the importance of being a donor and to help distribute donor cards around the country.
21 year old Edel Cashman from County Cork is among the speakers at today's event - she says growing up while waiting for a transplant is tough.
