SIPTU members working in Cork Pfizer Plants agree to attend Workplace Relations Commission meeting
SIPTU members working in the Pfizer Plants in Ringaskiddy and Little Island have today agreed to attend a meeting of the Workplace Relations Commission in relation to proposed pension changes at the company.
They're set to strike in a row with the company over its pension scheme.
The union says the pharmaceutical firm is proposing to change their existing benefits without agreement.
Workers have planned to strike for 24 hours at the Ringaskiddy plant on February 15th followed by another strike in Little Island and Ringaskiddy, 3 days later.
