Society of St Vincent de Paul Says Impact of Homelessness on Children Can No Longer Be Ignored

The society is reacting to the news a homeless mother and her children spent a night in Tallaght Garda station.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul says the detrimental impact of homelessness on children and families can no longer be ignored.

It says the upcoming Papal visit will bring to the fore how the use of hotels to meet homeless families' needs is entirely inappropriate.

The Society is reacting to the news a homeless mother and her children spent a night in Tallaght Garda station as they had nowhere else to go.
