Simon Coveney is currently at the site of the Jane Ville Estate in Carrigaline, where up to 800 houses will be built.

It's expected work will begin on the 100 acre development within the next few weeks by Astra Construction, and up to 100 jobs will be created during the construction phase.

The estate will be a mixture of 3, 4 and five bedroom houses ranging in price from €290,000 to €350,000.
