Software Solution firm Beacon AI says Skibbereen instrumental to ambitious plans for future growth

A Software Solution company which has chosen Skibbereen as one of its bases say the West Cork town is an ideal location to do business.
The company chose to locate in the The Ludgate Hub - the facility which has led the way in terms of rural broadband after it brought 1GB of connectivity to Skibbereen and to date in excess of 100 direct jobs have been created as a result.
The company says the town itself lends itself to doing business due to its proximity to Cork airport.
Traders in the town say they're also receiving a boost from the knock on effect from the Ludgate Hub and the businesses there including Beacon A.I are having.
Speaking to RedFM News Fiona Ryan of Beacon A.I says they have ambitious plans for future growth and Skibbereen and the West Cork area will be instrumental in achieving that:
