South West Action Plan for Jobs to be launched in Cork

The plan aims to deliver 40,000 jobs to the region by 2020
The Jobs Minister will be in Cork later this morning to launch the South West Action plan for jobs
Richard Bruton will be joined by Minister Simon Coveney and Minister of State Sean Sherlock at County Hall at 10am
Employment in Cork declined by 5.7% during the crash but Minister Bruton says since the National Action Plan for Jobs was launched three years ago 9,000 jobs have been created in Cork
The plan aims to deliver 40,000 jobs to the region by 2020
After the launch Minister Bruton will visit the Rubicon Centre at CIT where he will meet start-up businesses from the region
