SouthDoc To Reopen Blackpool Clinic Next Monday
Over 1,200 people signed a petition for the clinic to reopen and the issue was raised in the Dáil.
In a letter to the Chairperson of Southdoc in October last year, the HSE said the continued closure of the clinic poses a 'serious risk' that acute hospitals would see an increase in 'unnecessary presentations'.
SouthDoc rejected that idea.
In a post on social media, Cork TD Thomas Gould said the HSE had confirmed the reopening would take place on Monday the 18th.
