Special Sitting of Limerick District Court

A woman is to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court this afternoon, charged in connection with the death of a Polish marathon runner.
Michal Rejmer's body was discovered concealed under plastic sheeting, two pallets and bags of turf, at a garden at his home in Castletroy, Limerick, last Friday.
He had been living in Limerick for the past 10 years and worked in MacDonalds in the Castletroy area.
Mr Rejmer was a popular member of Dooneen Athletics Club and an avid marathon runner.
A post mortem on Mr Rejmer's body was carried out yesterday by State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy.
Gardaí are not releasing details of the post mortem, however it Is understood Mr Rejmer suffered a violent death.
