St Vincent de Paul Estimates Tens Of Thousands Of Families Will Seek Help This Winter

The charity St Vincent De Paul says it expects that 50,000 families will seek its help this winter.
The group's launching its annual appeal later, and says many people are still struggling despite the improvement in the economy.
It comes after the recent launch of the charity's annual Christmas Food Appeal in Cork.
Up to 200 hampers will be delivered a week to families across the city and county in need from December 12th.
SVP National President Kieran Stafford says the charity hasn't seen any real change in poverty levels:
