Starbucks ordered to remove signs from two of its outlets
Starbucks has been ordered to remove signs from its coffee shops on Emmet Place and Opera Lane.
The Evening Echo reports that it was one of the requirements attached to planning approval by Cork City Council.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the coffee chain had not sought the necessary planning permission for it's three city centre premises.
The company has been granted planning permission for the shop in Emmet Place, but has been told that it must remove some of the signs on the glazed elevation on Opera Lane.
They did not seek planning permission for the store on Patricks Street, choosing instead to remove the seating from the premises.
