Storm Barney continues to batter the country

An Orange Weather Warning in place Leeside until 9pm tonight.
45 thousand homes are now without power including some in Cork as Storm Barney lashes the country with winds of up to 130 kilometres an hour.
14 flights have been cancelled at Cork Airport including flights to Manchester, London and Birmingham.
There have been flights diverted at both Dublin and Shannon Airports and passengers are advised to contact their airline for more information.
Iarnrod Eireann says there are some minor delays to services - due to low rail adhesion - but all services are operating.
Gardaí are also appealing to motorists to exercise extreme caution on the roads, with difficult driving conditions reported.
Properties in Crookstown and Castletownroche are experiencing issues with their power and Bernadine Moloney from the ESB says crews are working hard to fix the problems.
