Suicide prevention centre in Cork is the busiest in country

Pieta House is experiencing a record number of people seeking their services and sees an average of 84 clients daily

The charity has seen an increase in demand for it's services with calls doubling in the last year.

Over 20,000 people across Cork city and county participated in the Darkeness into Light walk this morning  as part of a worldwide campaign to end the stigma surrounding suicide.

Speaking to RedFM News Angela Horgan of Pieta House says it's prevalent issue in Ireland.
