A facilitator has been appointed by the Department of Communications to chair discussions between Postmasters and company management after the government approved a 30 million euro investment in the network.
The Communications Minister says they need to develop new business opportunities and offer a wider range of services to bring the company back to profitability.
Minister Denis Naughton says they need to lay out a clear roadmap for An Post.
