Taoiseach arrives in Donegal this evening to see damage caused by devastating flooding

Government departments met earlier this morning and Donegal County Council has been told that whatever funding is required will be provided
Up to 500 homes have been damaged in the northwest this week, but the cost of the clean-up operation won't be known until the full extent of the destruction has been assessed.
Minister Joe McHugh is the Government Chief Whip and Fine Gael TD for Donegal.
He's defended the governments response to this week's flooding.
