Taoiseach Reacts To Fine Gael TD Maria Bailey Dropping Compensation Claim Against Dublin Hotel
Leo Varadkar says her decision is a matter for her alone
The Taoiseach says that the decision by Fine Gael TD Maria Bailey to drop her compensation claim against a Dublin hotel is a matter for her alone.
Deputy Bailey brought the personal injury claim after she fell from a swing in the hotel's restaurant in 2015.
According to the Irish Independent, Mrs Bailey decided to withdraw the case because it’s ‘a distraction from her political work’.
Leo Varadkar says he plans to discuss the matter with her later this week:
