Taoiseach Says Vacant Houses Will Not Solve Homeless Crisis

Vacant houses won't be a 'game changer' in fixing the housing crisis, according to the Taoiseach.

The Housing Minister is due to unveil plans to end homelessness after a meeting with the CEOs of local councils this afternoon. 

They'll likely involve an announcement to build more social housing. 

But Taoiseach Leo Varadkar shied away from a vacant housing tax when asked about it earlier.
