Tea time rush expected at polling stations

The public can vote until 10 o'clock tonight.
The tea time rush is getting underway at Polling centres across the country as the public chooses the next Government.
In Cork City they're registering a turnout of between 30 - 35 per cent with Rochestown in Cork South Central reporting 24% and a 25% voter turnout recorded in Youghal in Cork East.
Generally across Cork voter turnout is averaging around 14% while parts of Longford have recorded only a 5 per cent turnout.
Almost 3.3 million voters are eligible to cast their ballot in the General Election and the polls will stay open until 10 o'clock tonight.
People are being told to bring photo ID and remember that ballot box 'selfies' are banned.
Cork County returning officer Sinead McNamara has this advice for voters.
