Teenage boy speaks out after being recruited by a sex offender who posed as an agent
A teenage boy who was recruited by a registered sex offender who posed as an agent in Cork says the guards told him he had a lucky escape... Sean Johnson who was operating under a number of aliases fled Cork after being located by a blogger and confronted by Neil Prendeville earlier this month and was tracked down in Kerry shortly afterwards. An 11 month sentence was imposed on the 33-year-old last week who relocated here from the UK but failed to notify gardaí he was living in this jurisdiction. When he was was arrested, Johnson who was using the name Alexander Reid, admitted he should not have been working with children.
