The 2 Men Who Died In A Plane Crash In Co. Kildare On Thursday Night Have Been Named

The small plane came down in a remote field at Belan near Athy
70 year old James Price and 58 year old Aidan Rowsome were killed in the accident.
The remains of the wreckage have now been removed to the Air-accident investigation units facility in Gormanston, County Meath and will be further examined today.
Lead investigator Howard Hughes says there was no distress signal from the plane, but a radio transponder code led rescuers to the crash-site:
