The Body Of A Cork Teacher Has Been Recovered From The Sea Off West Kerry
52 year old John Cunningham was from the Lough but had been living in Dún Chaoin on the Dingle Peninsula for the past year.
He was last seen on Saturday and was reported missing by his neighbour on Monday.
Members of the Irish Coast Guard, Rescue Helicopter Rescue 115, Mallow Search and Rescue and Gardaí searched the sea and cliffs near Slea Head.
Up to 50 volunteers from the Dingle Peninsula and several friends also took part in the search.
It was feared he may have been swept into the sea when he went to check on lobster pots near Coumeenole.
A post mortem is due to take place today at University Hospital Kerry.
