That's the message from Cork South West TD, and former post office worker, Margaret Murphy O'Mahony who has expressed her concerns about  An Post's rural closure programme.

Reports indicate that 11 Cork Post Offices have been listed as one of the 161 to close, including Drinagh and Ballineen, with details to be confirmed at the end of the month.

The plans  have been subject to a lot of criticism since the announcement last week But the company claims the move is needed to make the network of remaining offices viable.

Speaking to RedFM News, TD Margaret Murphy O'Mahony says other businesses in rural areas must be taken into consideration:
