Exit Poll Indicates That Fine Gael And Fianna Fail Are Level On 23% In The Local Elections
The Greens have made gains here too, and are now standing on 9%
Sinn Fein are on 12%, and the Labour Party on 6%.
Turning our attention to Cork City:
Voters in the city were among the three areas in the country that were presented with four ballot papers yesterday.
As well as casting their vote on the divorce referendum, and on the local and European and local elections, they also voted on whether or not the city will have a directly elected mayor going forward.
All ballot papers have been transferred to Nemo Rangers GAA club for sorting
Our Senior Reporter Fiona O'Donovan is there for RedFM news from where she joins us for the first of her reports across the weekend.
