The Government Has Been Accused Of Being Hugely Disconnected From The Trolley Crisis
Almost 650 people were waiting for a hospital bed across the country this morning
93 patients are waiting for a bed in hospitals across Cork today.
Cork University Hospital is the worst affected in the country with 65 admitted patients without beds.
In a statement issued to RedFM News, CUH is now requesting that members of the public explore other options such as South Doc and their local GPs before attending their Emergency Department.
It follows the second highest number of people ever recorded on trolleys in Irish hospitals yesterday.
Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin says the government doesn't understand the problem:
