The Government Is Failing Members Of The Defence Forces
That's according to PDForra President Mark Keane who says members of the Army, Air Corps and Navy are not receiving the medical or psychiatric care they need.
The association held their annual conference in Carlow this week to discuss issues such as recruitment and retention and the treatment of new recruits.
The conference heard that medical services within the Defence Forces have been severely curtailed in recent years, meaning personnel who need treatment are being put onto public waiting lists
Speaking to RedFM News, Mark Keane from PDForra says it's totally unacceptable:
