The Mother And Baby Who Died At Cork University Maternity Hospital This Week Will Be Laid To Rest On Saturday
36 year old Marie Downey died on Monday following an apparent fall
While four day old baby Darragh lost his fight for life on Tuesday evening.
The South South-West Hospital Group says a full medical investigation has been launched - as is the case with all unexplained deaths.
Funeral mass for Marie and Darragh will be held in St Michael's Church, Ballyagran, Limerick on Saturday afternoon.
They will then be buried at Castletown Cemetery.
