The State's Apple Appeal Ruling Will Be Heard By The EU General Court In Luxembourg Later Today

Three years ago, the European Commission found that Ireland allowed Apple pay far less tax than other companies.
It ordered the State to recover over 13 billion euro in back taxes and interest, money which is currently being held in an escrow account.
Over the course of today and tomorrow, the State and the tech giant will aim to have the original ruling reversed.
Apple employs over 6,000 people at it's European Headquarters in Hollyhill on the northside of the city.
