Figures from Daft.ie show the average house price here have gone up by 14.3% to over €303,000.
Limerick and Waterford city there have seen increases of between 14 and 16%, while Dublin lags behind on 8.4%.

The RNLI rescued 4 people from a broken down boat off coast of Crosshaven yesterday.
The Crosshaven RNLI were alerted to mechanical fault on the Bayliner boat at around 5.40pm on Sunday close to Fort Camden.
The people on board and the boat were safely towed back to Crosshaven.
