There have been renewed calls for the closure of an illegal dumping site in the northside of Cork City.
A recent fire at Ellis's Yard in Ballyvolane has brought the number of fire brigade call outs to the site to 77 since the start of this year.
Figures released by City Hall show a major increase in the break out of fires at Ellis's Yard - with 18 call-outs in 2014, 25 in 2015, and 40 in 2017.
The council has also confirmed to the Irish Examiner that almost 184 thousand euro has been spent on cleanups in Ellis's Yard since 2008.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville show on Cork's RedFM, Councillor Ken O'Flynn explains why there have been so many fires at the site.
