There's no such thing as a bad result
That's according to guidance counsellors at Christ King Secondary School
Up to 6,500 students across Cork city and county received their Leaving Cert results today.
13 students across the country got the maximum of points availble, scoring eight H1's.
Students are now looking to Monday when the CAO's round one offers will be issued online, by post, email and SMS txt.
However students are being reminded that securing a CAO place is not for everyone, and there are now a whole series of new apprenticeships in insurance, accounting, ICT and financial services open to school leavers.
Speaking to RedFM News Christ King Guidance counsellor Christy O'Shaughnassy says there are programme opportunities open to every Leaving Cert student.
