Three outlets close on North Main Street
North Main Street has been dealt a huge blow with the loss of three outlets this week. Mahers Sports and the adjoining Baby Nursery is closing this month leaving most of the staff out of a job. However, the Mahers Sports branch on Maylor Street is expanding as the company has acquired additional space on the site. The shutters were pulled down on Roman House yesterday after the company went into liquidation. The shop has been trading on North Main Street for 59 years.
