Threshold Moves To Clarify Reports Claiming Some Cork Landlords Offered Tenants Free Accommodation For Sex

The matter was raised in the Dáil by Solidarity TD Ruth Coppinger after a landlord in Dublin offered a woman a free room in his house until Christmas if they could "agree something".
In the past few minutes a spokesperson for Threshold Cork told RedFM News that the reports reflect the national situation as opposed to the sitaution on the ground here in Cork - however they confirmed that a similar case is currently going through the legal system.
Cork TD Mick Barry and Deputy Ruth Coppinger will meet Housing Mininster Eoghan Murphy today to discuss the issues arising from the scandal.
