Thunder Child powers towards Cobh
Five crew on board Cork speed Thunder Child boat are bound for home on their voyage to set a world-record.
The €1 million vessel built by Safehaven Marine set off from the coast of Cork yesterday morning to complete its journey around the island of Ireland in record time.
The vessel arrived at Rockall just North West of Ireland at around 5 o'clock this morning and it's estimated the crew will arrive in Cobh at 9pm tonight.
Their journey is being tracked by Safe Trax which was developed by Curraheen based 8West Consulting and speaking to RedFM News Paul Ryan of 8West Consulting says their record will be a first:
