Today Is World Book Day
Parents spend more on fancy dress outfits for the day than they do on actual books every year
It's World Book Day and kids all around the country are dressing up as their favourite character from a book in school.
But according to a study by eBay, while parents are happy to pay €110 for costumes on the day, they only spend €87 a year on books.
