4 year old Derek Kavanagh was sitting down on a green area in Araglen Court in Togher on Tuesday evening when he was pricked by a used needle in the grass
Derek was immediately rushed to Cork University Hospital by his parents where he received emergency medical treatment to prevent him contracting any possible infections such as hepatitus.
