Tony Holohan to appear before Oireachtas committee

The Chief Medical Officer's stance on the use of antigen testing's expected to come under scrutiny when he appears before an Oireachtas committee later.
Tony Holohan has previously said the rapid test kid are only 50% effective.
President of pilots union IALPA Evan Cullen says the ban on antigen testing for international travel has been devastating to the aviation industry.
"480 livelihoods have been lost in the last few days.
"This comes on top of hundreds of jobs in Shannon, and layoffs in Cork.
"This comes on top of the CityJet jobs lost last year, and there's going to be thousands of job losses this winter in Irish aviation, and one of the biggest contributory factors is the government policy on antigen testing."
Meanwhile those waiting for a second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine can expect the jab before mid-July.
The HSE says it expects to give the remaining 450,000 people, waiting for their second dose, to be administered with a jab within 5 weeks.
