According to The Sunday Business Post, // the findings of a new government report contradict that the increasing premiums of insurance industry claims // is related to rising cost of awards.
Over a similar period, CSO figures show the cost of motor insurance increased by roughly 70 percent, despite dropping recently.
The paper also reports employer liability cover increased dramatically, putting pressure on some businesses to continue operating.
