A trader in an East Cork town says businesses are suffering as result of a street renovation scheme currently being carried out in Youghal.
Limestone re-paving is underway at Youghal’s Barry’s Lane however traders in the town say it's ill-timed as it's currently peak summer season.
They've also hit out at a two week break in the works prior to the bank holiday weekend which they say has exasperated the situation.
Kevin Linehan of Moby Dick bar's has also suffered the loss of adjoining parking spaces because of the works and speaking to RedFM News he says his business has been badly affected:
