Traders and developer meet over former Capitol Cinema site
Concerns were expressed about the proposed food innovation hub.
Traders in the English Market have held talks with the developer of the former Capitol Cinema site on the Grand Parade.
The discussions have been described as positive, however concerns have been expressed by some traders about the proposed food innovation hub.
The new development will house the centre on part of the former Central Shoe Store premises next door to the city's iconic food market.
Speaking to RedFM News Vice Chairman of the English Market traders committee John Boyling says they've met with the developer and have been reassured that the food innovation centre will not be a replica of the English Market.
