Traffic chaos as multiple crashes occur in city

There have been a number of traffic incidents in the city this morning causing traffic chaos and major delays. Two separate crashes have occured on the N40 South Ring Road westbound; One of which has been cleared off the road at J10 Mahon.... the other is still blocking the road westbound. Eastbound a crash has also occured on the Carrigaline road just before the slip road to the east. There are no injuries but a build up of traffic is to be expected. Gardaí have advised however that the Jack Lynch tunnel is open but down to one lane on both sides approaching. Emergency services are the scene of the most recent incident westbound and gardaí say a recovery truck is on the way and expect the incident to cleared shortly. An incident has also been cleared in Glanmire and gardaí remain at the scene there. Gardaí say there are no serious injuries to report from any of the incidents this morning.
