Traffic Delays Expected As A Result Of Cork City Sports

A traffic plan is in place in the vicinity of CIT this morning due to Cork City Schools Sports which is being held at the college.
Those attending the event are being advised to avoid the Bishopstown Roundabout exit and instead use Exit 1 on the Ballincollig Bypass and travel to CIT via Model Farm Road.
Motorists are being advised of considerable delays to traffic at the Bandon Road Roundabout, on Curraheen Road, and Model Farm Road from 8.30 am to 11.30 am.
Motorists from the South are advised to divert via Ballinhassig to use Airport Hill to commute to the City during this time.
The Carrigrohane Straight should be used to avoid Model Farm Road and Curraheen Road.
