Transatlantic flights hailed as a success story
Cork's transatlantic flights are being hailed as a success story at an international conference being held in the city this week.
The best that the region has to offer is being showcased at the ACI Regional Airports Conference which has attracted international delegates from the aviation sector.
It's hoped the event will open up Cork to other international markets and new routes.
It comes as the first transatlantic flights from Cork launch this Friday. Wow Air will be flying Cork passengers to ten North American destinations via Reykjavik. Cork-Boston flights meanwhile will be launched in July.
