Transport Minister urges unions to call off industrial action

The Transport Minister has urged bus unions to call off planned industrial action - saying he's prepared to give legal guarantees about jobs and conditions. Paschal Donohoe says a planned strike by NBRU workers on the 1st of May is unnecessary. The union's taking industrial action in protest at plans to privatise 10 per cent of Dublin Bus routes - while SIPTU is also considering action. Minister Donohoe says he regrets the decision - just as Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann are recovering from the financial crisis. Click the PLAY button above to hear.
