Transport Minister urging unions to return to talks
His comments come ahead of the seven days of planned strike action.
The Transport Minister is urging all sides in the Bus Eireann and Dublin Bus row to go back around the talks table.
Drivers at both companies will hold seven days of strike action next month, hitting both bank holiday weekends, in a row over plans to privatise 10% of bus routes.
Unions say they haven’t received enough reassurances from the companies, National Transport Authority and the Department of Transport over a number of issues including workers terms and conditions.
Paschal Donohue says the only way to resolve this is to return to the Labour Relations Commission.
