Two Fashion Outlets In Cork In Danger Of Closure

The Arcadia fashion group is in financial difficulty
520 jobs are on the line in Ireland and the UK at the British fashion empire owned by Philip Green.
Ten Irish stores owned by Arcadia are at risk of closure - Dorothy Perkins and Evans in Cork and Top Shop, Wallis and Miss Selfridge outlets in Dublin and Galway are all earmarked for closure..
17 stores across the UK may also close as part of a plan to rescue the business
The move is seen as a final effort by the company to stave off administration or breakup.
In a statement Arcadia says the stores will continue to trade as normal ahead of their meeting with creditors on June 5th next
