Two men are due in court later this morning in connection with a robbery in Kinsale at the weekend
Shortly before midnight on Saturday night two men, armed with what is believed to be a knife, approached four people in Hippy Murphy Park and demanded they hand over their possessions.
The four were made hand over cash and their jackets and the two men then left the area and the incident was reported to Gardaí in Kinsale
Yesterday morning two men, aged in their late 20s, were arrested and detained at Bandon Garda Station
They have since been charged and are due before Skibbereen District Court this morning
