Two Seizures Of Cigarettes At Cork Airport In The Past 24 Hours
Almost 50,000 cigarettes have been discovered by revenue officials
Over 40 thousand cigarettes were found this morning when customs officers searched a passenger in his 20s who had arrived from Nigeria.
Separately, revenue officials seized 8,400 cigarettes when they searched the baggage of a passenger who had arrived on a flight originating in China, yesterday evening.
The cigarettes have an estimated retail value of almost 30 thousand euro.
