Two separate weather warnings issued

Met Éireann has issued two separate weather warnings as the country prepares for another storm.

A status yellow rain warning has been issued for today with as much as 50 millimetres expected in the south and east.

While the country is being warned to prepare for dangerous winds with storm Brian expected to hit tomorrow.

70,000 people remain without power after storm Ophelia, 37,000 of those are in Cork, while water outages are affecting 25,000 households.
