Two teenagers arrested in connection with vicious attack on a taxi driver
Gardai investigating a vicious attack on a taxi driver in the city last month have arrested two teenagers for questioning about the assault and robbery. 59 year old John Ford, who has been driving a taxi for over 30 years in Cork, was beaten up and thrown out of his taxi in Ballyvolane by two passengers in the early hours of 19th September. They stole €50 and then drove off in the taxi which was later found crashed in the Kinvara Close area of Dublin Hill.
